The 200,000 cubic meter water desalination project in Bandar Abbas is one of the modules of the 1,000,000 cubic meter per day water desalination project of Asia Water Engineering and Development Company, which is being built to use produced water in the industry and mining sector (copper and steel). . This project is to produce 200,000 cubic meters of purified water per day, which will be built in the form of a 200,000 cubic meters desalination plant. In the process of water purification, due to the high TDS of raw water (Persian Gulf water), it requires a complete pre-treatment along with reverse osmosis technology for water purification.

This project is located on the northern coast of the Persian Gulf, about 35 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas city. This project, apart from water catchment and wastewater discharge facilities, as well as electricity supply and purified water transfer facilities, which are under the employer’s obligation in the form of another contract with other consultants and contractors, includes DAF and DMF sections for pre-treatment, reverse osmosis (RO) equipment. It is for the treatment of sea water as well as the facilities and equipment of the post treatment department.
